MABEL L. DEAL 

   Mabel L. Deal, 69, of Salisbury, died April 27, 1987, in Salisbury. She
 was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Greenville Township, a daughter of the late John
 M. and Alice E. (Garlitz) Deal.
   Besides her parents, also preceded in death by a brother Harvey and a
 sister Margaret Stevanus.
   She is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Sadie Caton, Canton, Ohio; Miss
 Clara Deal, Meyersdale; Mrs. Lulu Setzer, LaVale, Md.; and Miss Carrie
 Deal, Salisbury.
   She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury; member
 of the Salisbury Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary. She retired after 39 years
 in the Meyersdale and Grantsville Shirt Factories.
   Friends will be received Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9
 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services will be
 conducted Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark J. Stewart officiating.
 Interment, Greenville Cemetery.
