Lyle Geiger

8/3/2005 Lyle Edward Geiger, of Bluevale, passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2005. He was 66. He was the beloved husband of Ida (Shearer) Geiger; father of Paul and Reica Geiger of Harriston, Katherine and Allan Butters of Mission, B.C., Jim and Joan Geiger of Harriston, and Janet Wilding of Kitchener; grandfather of Ashley and Dave, T.J., Natalie, Devon, Randall, Haleigh, Anthony, Ryan and Graeden; and great-grandfather of Cameron and Jacob. Lyle was the son of Agnes Geiger of Kurtzville and the late Carl Geiger; brother of Shirley and George Weber of Milverton, Carl "Joe" and Marg Geiger of Durham, and Joyce and Gord Williamson of Harriston; and brother-in-law of Audrey and Gerard Wunder of Kitchener, Marion and Allan Wylie of Clifford, Lois and Ron Robinson of Listowel, Ellen and Larry Doan of Gowanstown, and John and Karen Shearer of Hanover. Visitation was held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kurtzville on Friday, July 29 from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Pastor Kurt Reinhardt officiated. Interment was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Kurtzville. Memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston. -30-
