(Issue of 9 April 1805)" Jefferson Co., TN Court Minutes 1807-10 (TSA) a WPA works book - Oct Session 1808 Jefferson Co., TN Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, Dandridge, 3rd Monday of Oct 1808 - William Sims appointed guardian to Lydia, Betsey, Baxter, Eliza and Rebecca Sims, entered into bond with Polly Sims his security for his faithful performance. Was this Polly Sims, the daughter mentioned in the below deed? While the above paragraph and the next deed below seem to be proof that Lydia Sims' father was William Sims who married Mildred Baxter - we have lots more work to do in regards to William. Who was his 2nd wife - Polly or Elizabeth??? Where did all his children go, besides Lydia? When did William die? Is there a DAMERON connection (other than the below deed) to our SIMS?
