Source:Waters, Wilson. History of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, p. 724, reports an age at death of 90 years. It is not known what this is based on? But the gravestone says 92nd year, calculation agrees, and the VRs report the church records say 96.
↑ Susan Maybin Stevens in "The Three Wives of Thomas Stearns of Littleton, Massachusetts", TAG, Vol. 74, p. 229, identifies Lydia in passing as Lydia Parkhurst. The grounds for this are not explained. This would presumably make her the Lydia, d/o Ebenezer and Mary Parkhurst, b. Chelmsford 11 Feb 1697/98, which appears to match the age at death.
