Identified as daughter of John Goodenow on the Confidence passenger list (April 1638).

Her father's 1654 nuncupative will mentions two sons-in-law, Henry Wyte (who married Jane) and Andrew Duning, who by process of elimination must have married Lydia.

But neither Lydia nor Andrew Duning are mentioned in her mother's will in 1666.

www.goodenowfamily.org claims she died in Dedham 13 Aug 1651 (confirmed in Dedham VR, I:136)-- probably due to complications related to childbirth; a child was born and died the same year (Dedham VR, I:136). Same site indicates Andrew Duning may have also gone by the name Dewing (one of which may have been a misunderstanding of the original lettering). In Dedham VR, he's listed as Duin, Dewin. After Lydia's death, he married Ann and had several children by her until his death in 1677 (Dedham VR).
