She was the daughter of John CORFMAN, Sr., and Catharine HUFFORD.

She married Alonzo "Lonzo" RINES in 1867; her husband died in 1882 in Nebraska.

Lydia is listed on page 128 of the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY. She is listed with her parents and her siblings (Nancy, Solomon, Barbara, Susan, Lewis, Matilda, Elizabeth, George, and Elmer). She also is listed with her husband with their children: Maude, Alta, Ruth, George Alonzo, and Ernest Leroy. Lydia had a child name Katie who was born and died in 1876, in Nebraska.

Lydia was a granddaughter of Daniel HUFFORD (1795-1858) and Nancy WELTY.

Toledo, Ia -- Mrs. L. M. Rines, who celebrated her 100th birthday anniversary on Mar. 4, 1948, died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.

She was born in Ohio and came to Tama county in 1853.

She married Alonzo Rines in 1867.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alta Cole [wife of Charles], Washington, D.C.; Maude Rines and Ruth Rines, Toledo; one son, G. A. [George Alonzo] Rines, San Bernadino, Cal., and one brother, Elmer E. Corfman, Hollywood, Cal.
