    Mr. Luther P. Ricker died at his late residence, No. 154 Auburn street, on the 10th instant, of heart failure, aged 80 years, 8 months. He was a resident of this city over forty years. For many years the firm of M. & J. Ricker, carpenters and builders, with whom he was associated, did the largest business in the city. Four years ago Mr. Ricker had pneumonia, and never fully recovered from its effects, and he had not been on the street since. His wife died in 1888. Mr. Ricker leaves a son, George F., and a daughter, Ella E., of Lebanon, Me.
