    Death of Moses Ricker.

In the death of Mr. Moses Ricker, which occurred on Thursday last, Cambridge loses one of its oldest and best known citizens. For more than half a century he has been in active business here as a builder, and during that time has erected some of the finest buildings in the city, among them the City Hall. Mr. Ricker was born in Maine, but came to Cambridge in 1835. Two years after, he married Miss Joanna Story and moved into the house he built and in which he has always lived, and where he died, corner of Auburn and River streets. His wife died nearly thirty years since, and he has never married again. He leaves one daughter, wife of Mr. Wm. H. Dodge. Much could be written of the many good qualities of the deceased, but our space will not permit it this week.
