From the Lansing Semi-weekly Republican, Friday, May 26, 1876 ["Whole No. 1173"], page 4, "Local News Brevities", column 1:
"L. G. Dunn [sic], a brakeman on the D., L. & L. M. railroad was killed at Williamston on Wednesday. He was thrown from a freight train and three cars passed over him. He will be buried in this city to-day. He formerly lived in Delhi, but his family, consisting of a wife and one child, at present reside at Ionia."
