    No marriage bond, licence, or bible record has been found for Luranna probably Higdon.
    Court records show a close relationship between Thomas Harrington and the Higdon family of Chatham Co NC.
    The only source info found to date that mentions her Christian name are the sources above, but of course they lack her maiden name. More info needed.

    Her parents are believed to be Daniel and Patience Brantley Higdon of Chatham Co NC.

    Another "source" is a note from Sharon Herrington a Higdon/Harrington researcher:
    "They moved to Mississippi before 1800. This is all chronicled in the book Colonial Higdons by Lucille B. Coone, copyrighted in 1976.
