Mrs. Lulu Guy, 62, wife of Lawrence E. Guy, superintendent of the Carrollton water department, died at 9 a.m. yesterday, March 17, in her home on North Lisbon Street. Death followed an illness of two years. Mrs. Guy was born at Dellroy on September 30, 1880, a daughter of Henry L. and Martha (Carnahan) Rock. Her father was a former postmaster at Dellroy and later served two terms as Carroll County Clerk of courts. Her marriage to Mr. Guy took place in 1905. Mrs. Guy was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was affiliated with the Order of Eastern Star and Campbell Rebekah Lodge. She had been a resident of Carrollton for 25 years, moving here from Dellroy. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Wickersham of Minerva; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph G. Reese of Salem and Mrs. Wick Fry of Columbiana, and two grandchildren. Three sisters are deceased. Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Sweeney Funeral Home with Rev. W. R. Taylor officiating, assisted by Rev. B. J. Yorke of Columbiana. Interment will be made in Grandview Cemetery.
