    Her S.S. # was xxx.
    Note: A letter written by Ardis McEnturff states that Lula Elizabeth Jackson, moved from Washington Co., Tx. in 1901, to Van Zandt Co., Tx. when she was 13 years old. She states that Lula and her Family Camped on the John Merel place on the Old Gordon Rd., and carried water from the well on the Dave Estes place. ( the Dave Estes place is now owned by the McEnturff/Heddin Family.) This is where Shorty and Ardis made thier home, all thier lives.
