    'Ludvig Kristian, f. 1868, d. 1946 -- 78 aar; han blev utdannet agronom i Norge og utvandret til Grafton, Dakota Territory, i 1888 -- 19 aar gammel. I 1890 reiste han med flere andre i "covered wagon" til Flathead Valley, Montana, hvor han tok en skog "claim", men da jernbanen kom gjennem og Kalispell blev bygget, fik han mere land og hans farm blev en mønsterfarm der i distriktet. Han blev gift med Hilda Kristina Holst fra Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, f. 1880.'

In 1890 he travelled with several others by covered wagon to Flathead Valley, Montana where he took a forest claim. When the railway came through and Kalispell was built, Ludvig received more land and his farm became a model farm there in the district. He was married to Hilda Kristina Holst from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, b. 1880.'
