OBITUARY: Wooster (Ohio) Daily Record, Monday, September 8, 1980, page 2. Lucy VanZile New Pittsburg - Lucy Marie VanZile, 60, of 9481 VanZile St., New Pittsburg, died late Saturday night at Mansfield General Hospital. Services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the McIntire Funeral Home with Pastor Walter Wissinger officiating. Burial will be at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call today (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may contribute to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Road, Wooster, or to the Wayne County Cancer Fund, 560 Winter St., Wooster. She was born in Wooster in 1920, the daughter of Earl and Sara Weimor Mong, and was a 1938 graduate of Wooster High School. She had been employed as a sales clerk at the H. Freedlander Store for 10 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg and the New Pittsburg Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Harry VanZile, whom she married Sept. 15, 1949, a daughter, Mrs. Naomi Ann Stephenson of Ames, Iowa, a son, H. Michael of Wooster; a brother, John Mong, of Ruff Dale, Pennsylvania.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Mae Daugherty of Mansfield, and three grandchildren. Her first husband, Charles E. Nuttall, died in 1947.
