    Lucy is named after her father's mother. (Note; there is Lucisa and

Lucy Bugh stones in Evergreen Cemetary, Standish, Mich.) 

    She devoted her whole life to being a very loving and careing

housewife and mother. She made home made soups and did a lot of canning in the fall. Did her own spring cleaning, washing of walls, draperies and stretching curtains on stretching rods, etc. As a hobby she liked to embroidery pillow cases and then crochet a edge on them. 

    On Betty's birth certificate obtained 3-6-98 in Detroit, it shows

her mother's maiden name as Lucille not Lucy. Betty believes the name was changed to Lucy at a later date because Lucille was in errror.
