All of our family grew up with Art (Mom's cousin) and Jessie in Vancouver, Washington. I remember Ernie, from the time he was very young, till 1968 or so. I have never seen His name in print, as I recall, But I know it was pronounced "Hagen". I may be able to do some research through mom's papers to find the correct spelling. If it is important.

As I recall, His parents were killed in a train accident when Ernie was a baby and Ernie survived the accident. Some time around 1950. I have never heard their names and I think they were related to either Art or Jessie in some way. If you have any info on them, I would like to know more about them.

From Dale Cole: Parents were killed in a car and train accident. He was thrown out of car. He was a baby and then raised by Arthur Aaron Bugh.
