- ↑ "BLOOMINGTON -- Lucille C. Blosser, 73, of 15 Briarwood Ave.,Bloomington, formerly of Canton, died at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 10,2004) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg FuneralHome and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Bloomington, with the Rev.Gregg Petri officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery,Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeralhome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American CancerSociety.
She was born March 10, 1931, at Blakeslee, Ohio, the daughter of Georgeand Rosella Siebenauer Thiel. She married Russell O. Blosser Sr. on May29, 1948, at Angola, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include three children, Russell (Kathryn) Blosser Jr.,Topeka, Kan.; Diana (David) Meece, Bloomington; and James (Lisa Ann)Blosser, Lawrence, Kan.; four grandchildren, John Blosser, SarahKrueger, Philip Blosser and J.R.D. Blosser; three great-grandchildren,Camden, Tory and Haven; and one sister, Dorothy (Kenneth) Fiig,Edgerton, Ind.
Two brothers, Michael and Cleo Thiel, and one sister, Leona Clark,preceded her in death.
Lucille attended St. Mary's Church in Bloomington. She was a bestfriend, loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed." -foundin The Pantagraph
