Lucile Hudson, daughter of Elijah and Wealthy Hudson, was born April 18, 1898 in Lima Township and moved to Milton in her early childhood. She was graduated from Milton High School and attended Milton College. A talented musician, she had been an organist in Chicago for the past twenty years. She was a member of ASCAP, national society of composers and publishers. While in school, she attended the Milton Congregational Church and was organist there many years.
Her father and mother preceded her in death and she is survived by two brothers, George of Milton Junction, Walter of Milton, one sister, Mrs. Kent Liddell of Fort Atkinson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Milton Congregational Church, with the Rev. W. H. Adams of Janesville officiating. Song service was by Stuart Paul with Mrs. Alice Rye at the organ. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery. Pallbearers were four nephews, Gordon, Hendric, Clayton and John.
