Though she is listed as Ann L. on the 1860 census record, all other records including her gravestone have her as Louise A so she is recorded her as Ann being her middle name. The 1900 and 1910 census indicates that she and Albert did not have any children.

From research of Dr. Troha:
Obituary found at http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/NYCHAUTA/2006-12/1166765955.
“Entry dated April 26, 1930 [i.e. Saturday, April 26, 1930; I assume that this is also the publication date] Newspaper obit clipping pasted in journal:
Mrs. Louise Garfield, widow of Albert P. Garfield, died at 8:40 o’clock Friday evening [i.e. Friday, April 25, 1930] at her home in Lakewood Road, aged 77 years. She is survived by a sister, Miss Olive B. Jackson of Lakewood Road and a brother, Edward N. Jackson of Youngsville, PA. Mrs. Garfield was born at Sands Point [,] Long Island and had lived in this vicinity for 76 years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church [sic: Church] at Busti [i.e. Busti, Chautauqua, New York, bordering Ellicott]. The funeral will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.”

Unfortunately, the name of the newspaper in which this was published is not given, but the mention of her siblings does confirm her identity [note, however, that her brother is listed here as “Edward N. Jackson”, which is a different middle initial than “Edward Mott Jackson”. Note that it says she was born on Long Island, not in Chautauqua County like her siblings before and after her. Perhaps her parents were visiting relatives when she was born.
