Facts and Events

Birth[2][5] 16 Feb 1872 Amesbury, Wiltshire, EnglandY
Marriage 25 Mar 1891 Christchurch, Dorset, EnglandSt Clements
to George Noakes
Death[1][3][4] 27 May 1954 Rockdale, New South Wales, Australia

Louisa was born in England and all the evidence points towards her birth information being what is recorded here. Her birth has been listed as being in Salisbury and records that appear to match are in Amesbury and therefore it is worth knowing that Amesbury was a parish and is a village in Salisbury.

She married George Noakes and they moved to Australia where they raised their family.

With the amount of information available for Louisa it should be easy to determine her mothers name. It has been listed as Elizabeth but I don't know where that information comes from. It seems fairly clear that with a known birth date her birth certificate should fill in the details.

I found a Louisa Williams in Salisbury on the 1881 UK census. She is 8 years old which if the birth information I have is correct, then she had her ninth birthday 2 months before the census. It would be useful to see the whole household to hopefully gain some useful information. There is also a Thomas Williams in Salisbury for the census.

Louisa Noakes (Williams) death is on the Ryerson index and NSW births deaths and marriages in 1954 and using Trove, on page 20 of the Sydney Morning Herald for the 27 May 1954, an announcement of her death can be viewed amongst the family notices.
