Richard Alexander OSWALD of Auchincruive (1771 Scotstoun-1841 Vevey) was MP for Ayrshire; Richard married (1) Louisa JOHNSTON and (2) Lady Lilias MONTGOMERIE (Old country houses of the old Glasgow gentry). Richard married Louisa Johnston 23apr1793 at Edinburgh and Haddington, E. Lothian (IGI). Louisa (d. 1797) was daughter of Wynne Johnston of Hilton, Merse (Burke's Landed Gentry, 2001). Louisa d. at Lisbon, Portugal (Latter day saints). Robert Burns wrote a poem about Louisa/Lucy Johnston.
