Louisa Ashley was baptised on 16th June 1850 at Burnham in Buckinghamshire, daughter of Eliza Ashley, formerly Beasley, and her husband Charles Ashley, an agricultural labourer. Lousia appears in each of the censuses from 1851 to 1871 living in the hamlet of Cippenham in the parish of Burnham with her parents and siblings.
On 23rd April 1871, Louisa married a railway porter named George Henry Hutchings (who was known as Henry). They moved to London, settling at 64 Allcroft Road in the Kentish Town area. They had seven children together, all of whom lived to adulthood. Henry died in 1901, aged 57. Louisa outlived him by fifteen years, and appears in the 1911 census still living at 64 Allcroft Road with two daughters and a grandson.
Louisa appears to have died in 1916, aged 65.
