Voode Funeral on Monday - Farmer Near New Haven Hangs Self in Barn - Funeral services for Louis N. Vodde, bachelor farmer, who hanged himself Thursday in the barn on the farm owned by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. B. J. Vodde, southeast of New Haven, will be held at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home, and at 9:30 o'clock at the St. John's Catholic church, New Haven. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Vodde had been in ill health for a year and a half, but had not been despondent according to members of the family. No note giving the reason for his act was left by Vodde. Surviving are his parents; three brothers and four sisters, Norberta and Clement, at home; Mrs. L. J. Ehinger and Leo, of New Haven; Venerable Sister M. Gerard, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Cecelia and Albert Vodde, of this city. He was a member of St. John's Benevolent associiation and the Holy Name society.
