    "Aged Resident Dies at Home of Son, Friday
    Louis Brick, one of the oldest pioneers of this county, passed away at the home of his son Mike on Friday, March 20th. He was at the time of his death 81 years of age. He was born in Waterloo, Canada in 1854 and came to this country in 1883. He was united in marriage to Miss Thresa Vogt in 1880, and to this union five children were born, one son John preceding him in death in 1928.
    Mr. Brick is survived by his wife, Thresa, two daughters, Mrs. Kate Green, and Mrs. Elizabeth Fritz, two sons Joseph and Mike, a sister, seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
    Funeral services were held from St. Joseph Church Klacking Creek, on Monday, March 23, with Fr. G Lenzen officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Klacking Creek." (Now called Holy Family Cemetery)

    "Out of town folks that attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Grossman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fritz and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Green, Mr. and Mrs. William Brick, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Green and Clyde Brick all of Detroit and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Largent of Pontiac. Six grandsons, Harold Green, Clarence Green, Edward Green, Clyde Brick, Herman Brick and William Brick acted as pallbearers."
