BREMEN -- Lola I. Sellers, 91, a resident of the Bremen Health Care Cener died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, at the center. She was born Juy 17,1905 in White County to David W. and Elizabeth M. Cornell Baer. She married Raymond C. Sellers on March 8, 1924. He died Dec. 20, 1986. she was a former resident of 205 E. Fisher St. She lived in the Monticello and Idaville communities most of her life. She was a member of the Idaville Women's Club and White County Home Extension Club for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren and the Women's Fellowship of the church for more than 50 years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Marilyn C.) Downs of Lapaz; two sisters, Eva Lowe of Monticello and Eileene Guthrie of Avilla; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael W. and Suzanna Downs of Lapaz; and one great grandchild. Three brothers and three sisters are deceased.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, the Rev. Claude Stogsdill officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Pike Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren.
