According to his death certificate, his wife's name was Barbara Croul.His obituary states that he went to Orange County in 1931 where he was District Manager for Century Oil Company. He later became Sales Manager for Keesee Tank and Pump Company. Also noted in his obituary was his 40 year membership in the Elk's Lodge of Santa Ana and his involvement with the local Chamber of Commerce.
