Etta Olive Pool was my grandmother, her father was Benjamin Peyton Pool, son of Rueben, son of Lloyd. The photos are of the house at Deer Field and Benjamin and his family. It must be circa 1895. Great grandma Pool would have been Rachel (Shipley) Pool, born 1812, and her sister was Ruth Anne Shipley born 1826. My grandmother Nanny (we used to call her that, her real name was Olive,) was 2 or 3 in the picture and she was born in 1892. References
