Person:Liv Ranesdatter (1)

The following note (moved here from the page of Rane Eivindson) suggests (based on genetics?) that Liv was not the daughter of Rane Eivindsson, but of a different Rane who must have been the cousin of Rane Eivindsson and also a grandson of Rane Jonsson and Kristina Alvsdatter. Rane Jonsson and Kristina Alvsdatter's son Johannes had a son named Rane - possibly he was Liv's father. This bears further investigation.

• Liv Ranesdotter kan ikke være søster til Elin Ranesdotter, for da kunne ikke en fjern slektning Bo Fleming stille arvekrav. Rane, far til Liv, må ha vært søskenbarn til Rane Eivindsson, og selv barnebarn til Rane Jonssønn og Kristin Alsdatter.
