Lillian C.Aldinger ALTON - Lillian C.Aldinger, 92, died at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, at Saint Anthony's Hospital. Born Sept. 2,1909, in Alton, she was a daughter of the late James and Ethel (Knapp) Crofton. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she was employed by Snyder's Clothing Store for several years and later worked with her husband at Aldinger Accounting Service before her retirement. She married Clarence Aldinger Feb. 2,1932, in Alton. He died in 1986. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Aldinger of Alton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Staten Funeral Home in Alton, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. Father Jim Nibbler will be celebrant. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Godfrey.
