346 (X) LEWIS MARCY, SON OF JONATHAN. Lewis Marcy Janes married Abby P. Allyn, at Cayuga, near Auburn, N. Y., 25 July, 1821, Rev. Medad Pomeroy officiating. She was born at New London, Conn., 8 October, 1797, and died 23 October, 1847. He was lost on the steamer Pewabic, 9 August, 1865, on Lake Huron. Mrs. Abby P. Janes was a neice of Thomas Mumford, president of the Auburn Bank, and they complimented him by giving his name to their first child. Children. 949 i. Thomas M., born 23 Sept., 1822; married Cor nelia R. Livingston, Cleveland, Ohio. 950 Ii. Martha C, born 7 Nov., 1824; died at Akron, Ohio, 28 May, 1845. 951 in. F.
