Per trancribed records it shows a John Plantz, Leonhardt Plantz and a Georg Jacob Plantz. Took oath of allegiance on October 17, 1749. Church Communion records of St. James Lutheran (Straw) Church, Greenwich, Warren Co., NJ 1774-1781: Communicants, July 11, 1774 Leonard Blantz and wife Maria Margareth, George Blantz and wife Susana; Communicants, Oct 1, 1774 Leonhardt Plantz and wife Maria Margaretha. Leonhart Plantz and Georg Jacob Plantz are also found on a 1749 Philadelphia Census.
