LEONARD MENTRUM

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday for Leonard Mentrum, 58, 2819 S.E. 50th avenue, who died suddenly of a heart attack at the Aero club Monday. Mr. Mentrum, superintendent of the sheet metal workers at Cripp's company, was a member of the Aero club, Al Kader Shrine, Southgate Masonic lodge No. 182 and the Scottish Rite.

He came to Portland in 1921 and worked for Commercial Iron Works during the war. Mr. Mentrum is survived by the widow, Jennie Bowers; a son, Leonard Mentrum Jr., in Portland, a brother, Clarence in New York; two grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Lavinia Edmundson.
