JENNIE MENTRUM Funeral for Mrs. Jennie Mentrum, 74, of 4619 N. Michigan Ave., will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Caldwell's Colonial Mortuary, with internment at Rose City Cemetery. Mrs. Mentrum died at a local hospital Sunday. She was born in Centralia, Pa., Oct. 8, 1889, coming to Portland in 1921. She was a member of Southgate Chapter No. 149, Order of East Star, and Ivanet Temple, Pythian Sisters. Surviving are a son, Leonard Mentrum, Portland; a brother Jefferson Jasper Bowers, Chicago; two sisters, Pearl Searcy, Woodland, Calif., and Levinia Edmundson, Portland; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

MENTRUM - Jennie, 4619 N. Michigan; mother of Leonard Mentrum; sister of Pearl Searcy, Levinia Edmundson and Jefferson Jasper Bowers; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Service Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Caldwell's Colonial Mortuary, Sandy blvd at 14th, South Gate Chapter No. 149, OES, participating. Internment Rose City.
