Oswego Palladium-Times, 27 Mar 1936: RICARD, March 27-- Leonard McChesney was serlously Injured Thursday morning when he was thrown from his motorcycle. The chain came off the machine near George Roser's home, and he was thrown several feet, striking on his head. Dr. A.C. Parker was called, but was unable to determine the extent of his Injuries at once as he remained unconscious. It was said Friday that the young man has a concussion of the brain. He has been removed to University Hospital, Syracuse. He is 20 years old, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva McChesney. .. A native of Pulaski, Mr. McChesney lived in Orwell since 1927. He retired in 1983 as the owner of a dairy farm and saw mill. He also was a trucker for many years. Surviving are his wife, Arvilla I.; a stepson, Earl J. Webb Jr. of Ava; a brother, Donald of Orwell; a niece; and a nephew. Services will be... Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
