Leo W. Lettington

Leo W. Lettington, 75, of 5510 Cartwright Lane, Marion, died Sunday morning, July 25, at Hallmar, following a long illness.

Mr. Lettington was born at Sandyville, Ia., Aug. 7, 1907. He was married to Margaret Montgomery Sept. 28, 1929, at Stewart [sic], Ia.

He was the owner and operator of Lettington's Carpet and Floor service.

He was a member of the Lutheran church of the Resurrection.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, LeRoy Lettington of Marion; three brothers, Oral and Gene Lettington of Des Moines, Allen of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one sister, Rachael Lettington of Des Moines; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Dale Seman of Texas.

Services were held at the Baxter Memorial Chapel in Marion, Tuesday, July 27, 1:30 pm by visiting Pastor Otto Zwanziger. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at McGregor.

A memorial fund has been established.
