    Mrs. Lenora Shepherd of Bloomfield route two died at 5:30 a.m. today at her residence.

    The deceased was born in Washington Township on September 22, 1893, the daughter of Helmer and Abigail (Lamb) Holmes. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church and the Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Shepherd, on December 15, 1957, and a son, Clifford Shepherd, on July 2, 1970.

    Surviving are a grandson Jack B. Shepherd, of Kokomo; a granddaughter, Mrs. Steven [Jane] Stahl, Bloomfield route two; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marian Shepherd, Bloomfield; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Harvey, Dewey and Max Holmes, all of Bloomfield route two, and a sister, Mrs. Victoria Maddock, also of Bloomfield route two.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home here with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
