Lena Andrews came to the United States from Forde, Norway at the age of 20 years. She lived for a time in Rockford, Ill. Later in Muskegon where she married Bert Areket. They located in West Golden in 1925.

Lena died at her home on Sunday evening unexpectedly.

Besides her family she left two sisters in Norway.

Prayer services were held at the Tate Funeral Home, Funeral rites were held at the West Golden Wesleyan Methodist Chur. The Rev. Walter Rose officiated the burial ceremony. She is buried at the Hart Cemetary.
