L. C. Miller Dies 

   Near St. Stephens

Lemuel Cicero Miller, 81, died yesterday at his home in the St. Stephens neighborhood and will be buried tomorrow afternoon following the funeral service at 3 o'clock at St. Stephens Lutheran Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. C.N. Yount. 

   In 1870 Mr. Miller was married to Caroline J. Huffman who died October 31, 1902.  On January 3, Mr. Miller was married to Mrs. Sarah E. Yount, who with five children by his former marriage survive.  They are Abel S. Miller, Hickory; Rev. D. L. Miller, Chapin, S.C.; Mrs. M.L. Sites, Lincolnton; Mrs. M. L. Reinhart, Newton; one sister, Mrs. Genevieve Bolick; and 35 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
