Lee J. Brown, 58, of Rt. 2, Carrollton, a former Lee Twp. trustee, died last Thursday in his home after a long illness. He was born December 20, 1911, in Lee Twp., a son of the late William H. and Martha Crim Brown, and was a life resident of Carroll County. He had served as trustee from 1966 to 1969. Mr. Brown had been an employee of the State Highway Department and a self-employed fur dealer. He was a member of Harsh Memorial Church in Harlem Springs.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen (Palmer) Brown; three daughters, Mrs. Van (Willavene) Smith of Rt. 2, Carrollton, Mrs. Stephen (Neva) Kinney of Harlem Springs and Mrs. Densil (Wilma) Skidmore of Rt. 4, Carrollton, and five grandchildren. Services were Sunday at the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. Charles McCoy officiating. burial was in Harlem Springs cemetery.
