Cornelius William Sycoff, pastor of Bethel Presbyterian Church, post office Upper St. Clair, was born Oct. 14, 1837 in Carroll County, Ohio, a son of Isaac and Katherine (Frye) Sycoff, born respectively Dec. 7, 1814, in West Virginia, and March 3, 1818, in Maryland.
