    Elberton, Ga. - Lawrence Orr Scott, 90, died Saturday in Elberton.
    Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Washington, Ga., with the Rev. George Chambers and the Rev. Harold Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Washington.
    Mr. Scott was a native of Abbeville County, S.C., and a member of Washington First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and lived in Elberton the past two years.
    Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. W. T. Smith, Mrs. W. E. Childs, Mrs. Otis Childs and Mrs. Alton A. Childs, all of Elberton, Mrs. Frank Hodges of LaGrange, Ga., Mrs. Mattie Callaway of Washington, Mrs. James Echols of Tignall, Ga., and Mrs. Charles Tyson of Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, Thomas Scott of Rutledge, Ga., Joe Scott and Sam Scott, both of Washington; and 46 grandchildren and 88 great-children; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
    Pallbearers will be Jimmy Echols, Joe Scott Jr., Joel Smith, Otis Childs Jr., Sammy Scott and Thomas Childs.
    Friends may call at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington.
