    Succumbs To Illness Of One Month; Funeral At Ninety Six
    John G. Scott, well known citizen of Ninety Six, died at the city hospital in Greenville yesterday norming at 3:40 o’clock following a month’s illness.
    He was the son of J. L. Scott and Fannie Giles Scott and was 51 years of age, having been born June 13, 1883. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emily Spence Scott; three daughters, Miss Laura Scott, Miss Louise Scott, Miss Bessie Scott, three sons, Woodrow W. Scott, William Scott and Jim Scott, all of Ninety Six, and four brothers, A. G. Scott, Ninety Six, Henry Scott, Iva; L. O. Scott, Milliton, Ga. and J. L. Scott, Augusta.
    Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 3 o’clock at Cambridge Methodist church at Ninety Six, by the Rev. B. B,. Black. Interment followed int he Rocky River cemetery near Calhoun Falls.
