    Lawrence Edward "Ted" Laughner Jr., 80, of Hillsboro, Ga., formerly of the Westmoreland County area, died Friday, April 6, 2007, in Georgia. He was born Nov. 29, 1926, in Greensburg, the son of the late Lawrence E. Sr. and Estelle G. (George) Laughner. Mr. Laughner served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from Sheraton Hotels after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Klein Laughner; children, Katherine Lucy and Jon C.
