John G. "Jack" Laughner Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 25, 2007, in Green Valley, Ariz. He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Greensburg, the second son of the late Lawrence E. Sr. and Estelle G. (George) Laughner, of Youngstown, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lee, of Green Valley, Ariz.; son, Hans V. and his wife, Monica, of Goodyear, Ariz., with grandchildren, Christopher, Derrick, David and John Henry; daughter, Maria and her husband, Slobodan, of Phoenix, Ariz., with grandson, Aleksa; and son, Jack Jr. and his wife, Marilou, of Glendale, Ariz., with grandchildren, Christian, Anniemae and Angelica; and three brothers, Jim H., of Hemet, Calif., Wayne T., of New Cumberland, Pa., and Gale H., of Allen Park, Mich. The oldest brother, Ted, preceded John in death in April 2007. He is also survived by four aunts in Pennsylvania.
