- ↑ "KING-- funeral services for Lawrence C. King, age 87, formerly ofAlexandria, will be held Monday 1:30 PM at the McPeek funeral home,Granville. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany. Mr. Kingdied Friday afternoon in the Newark Health Care Center. He was aretired farmer and a former member of the Laylin Grange and Nights ofPythias, Johnstown. Surviving are his wife, Doris Tharp King,Granville; daughter, Mrs. Kenneth [Mary Lou] Hankinson of Alexandria;sons, Donald King of Columbus, Lyle King of Granville and Wayne King ofHanover; sister, Mrs. Roy [Pearl] Beeson of Pataskala; brothers, GailKing and Robert King, both of Pataskala; nine grandchildren; andgreat-grandchildren and 3 stepgrandchildren. Friends may call at thefuneral home Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The family requests that Memorialcontributions be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 109-A EastMain Street, Newark, Ohio, 43055."
