Lawrence M. Carteaux 

 Lawrence M. Carteaux, 71, died at 8:58 p.m. Thursday [May 12, 1983]  in St. Joseph’s Hospital.
 Mr. Carteaux retired in 1977 from Falstaff Brewing Co.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.
 Surviving are a daughter, Joan Carteaux Figgs, of Fort Wayne; and two brothers, Clarence, of Humboldt, Tenn., and Joseph, of Fort Wayne.
 Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Mongovan & Sons Memorial Chapel and at 1 p.m. in St. Jude’s Catholic Church.  Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.  Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
