!obit -Mrs. Laura Richey-Tipton Daily Tribune-10-7-1918,Page 5 Mrs. Laura Richey, 30 wife of Frank Richey of Nevada, died Monday morning about three o'clock after a four day illness of complications arising from child birth and influenza. Mrs. Richey, who maiden name was Bogue was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Bogue of Slakum vicinity and was born October 4, 1888. Her girlhood days were spent in the vicinity northeast of Tipton. She was married to Frank Richey in August 1904 and moved with her family to Nevada about nine years ago(1909). Five children were born to this union, four of whom with the Husband survive. Roy, age 13, Pearl, age 9, Thelma, age 3 and Virgil, 3 days old. Herschel died in infancy. She is also survived by six brothers and 2 sis, Alfred, Leander, Samuel, Jesse, Fred and Ernest Bogue, Mrs. Samuel (Jesse) Rogers, and Mrs. John Fennell and one 1/2 brother Nicholas Bogue. Mrs. Richey became a Christian at age of 19 with the Brethren Church and was one of the most devoted Christian women of the community, faithful in attendance and active in all church work. She was de- voted to her home and family and yet found time to be a good neighbor and friend to all and the entire community will mourn her loss. Mr. Richey and other members of the family are ill, some with influenza,(epidemic)
