    Widow testified that her husband entered the service of the Confederacy in 1862 in Company H, 27th Regiment Volunteer Infantry; that he was honorably discharged at Clinton, La. in May or June 1865; that at the time of his discharge he was a member of Company E, 3rd La. Cavalry; that her husband "was murdered" at Anguilla, Mississippi 2 Jan 1890; that she had no support "outside of the kindnesses of my children"; that she had no property whatsoever, having sold her home in Tangipahoa, La. five years previously; at the time of her application she was living with her daughter Mrs. Ida Schwartz in Kentwood, La.
