"Bury Cornelius Sinnema at Ireton; Died Here on Sunday at Daughters Home
    ----
Funeral services for Cornelius Sinnema, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Harsma, in this city, on Sunday, were held yesterday afternoon. After services at the Harsma home, conducted by Rev. J. De Jongh, pastor of the Holland Reform church, of Rock Rapids, the remains were taken to Ireton, former home of the dead man, for interment.
Mr. Sinnema, who was born in Holland, was 83 years of age, at the time of his death. For many years he was engaged in farming, after coming to this country to make his home. After retiring, he lived with his children, and when the Harsmas moved to Rock Rapids to make their home, he came with them. Some time ago, it was discovered that he suffered from cancer, and in spite of all that medical skill could do, he fail rapidly."
