Keziah Harrison was born circa 1768 (between the years 1760 and 1770 acording to the 1830 and 1840 census returns). She may have been kin to Robert Harrison of Cynthiana. She may also have been kin to William and Hannah Harrison, the parents of James Harrison and possibly William Harrison. James Harrison, William Harrison, Robert Harrison, and Keziah Harrison Dunn were all located at the same time in Harrison County, Kentucky, and all moved together with their families into Ohio, then to central and western Indiana. Court and census records indicate that these four families maintained close asociation with one another for over fifty years. There is nothing in the records to indicate that Keziah was a close member of the Benjamin Harrison family who were contemporaries in Harrison county, Kentucky, and for whom Harrison County was named.
